Concurrent Enrollment
Is for High School Students currently enrolled at Princeton Jr./Sr. High School who would like to also enroll in post high school course work (college courses). Concurrent enrollment may be obtained by attendance at a College campus location and/or taking on-line college course work.
CSU, Chico - High School Scholars Program Orientation (Concurrent enrollment)
The CSU, Chico High School Scholars Program (HSS) allows local High School students to take up to TWO Courses at CSU, Chico for just $102.00 (see updated annual fee schedule). The objective of the program is to offer local area students access to college courses that have not been filled by regularly enrolled CSU, Chico students.
CSU, Chico High School Scholars Student Requirements:
Butte College – High School Concurrent Enrollment
STUDENT REQUIREMENTS: The Concurrent Enrollment program allows students to supplement their high school education by attending Butte College courses. Credits earned through the program may be used to fulfill high school and college certificate, transfer, or graduation requirements. All concurrently enrolled students should have an “Authorization to Treat a Minor” form on file with the Student Health Clinic. It is the Student’s responsibility to submit the form to the Health clinic. Concurrent Enrollment Permission Forms for Fall/Winter Spring or Summer must be received by deadline timelines to receive priority processing. All schools need to complete a new school signature authorization form annually.
Enrollment FEE (tution fee for class enrollment): Waived for High School Students enrolling through the Concurrent Enrollment, College Connection Programs and BOGFW students. (2017-18 school year fees range from $20.00 - $39.00. Course fees and text books not included). For fee payment you will have 7 days from the time of registation to pay fees in full or create a fee payment plan online. 7 Days to Pay Info.
Service Fees (are not waived): Health, Transportation, Student Activities Fee, Student Representation in Local & State Government, Technology.
NOTE: For updated fee information check with Butte College for fee charts and breakdown of costs. After you register, check your fees online in your MYBC account. Books and school supplies costs vary depending on classes; check class syllabus for list of class supplies.
Additional Concurrent School Options include:
All concurrent students pay a Campus Center and Health Fee which is currently $39.50 (check fees schedule for current fee chart). If there are materials fees, students would pay those fees as well
