Princeton Joint Unified School District invites you to become an Eagle!

We are a K-12 district with a elementary and high school. Both our sites offer safe and supportive small school environments, academically rigorous curriculum taught by dedicated teachers, and numerous opportunities for involvement.  Among the reasons you should consider making Princeton your home:
  • Great learning environment:  We average about 15 students per class; our excellent student-to-staff ratio allows our faculty and staff to know our students well and affords the opportunity to provide greater individualized attention.  We have very few discipline problems and remain largely untouched by the gang problems that many surrounding communities are facing.
  • Strong and improving performance:  Both of our schools have made great strides in academic achievement as measured by the Academic Performance Index (API).  Princeton Elementary’s 2012-13 score of 819 was fifth best among Glenn and Colusa County elementary schools.  Princeton Junior High’s 2012-13 score of 800 was best among Glenn and Colusa County high schools.
  • Opportunities for involvement:  In Princeton there are numerous ways for students, parents, community members, and staff to be involved. Sports (football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and softball), 4-H, FFA, yearbook, CSF, and a few of the many opportunities we offer.
  • Interdistrict transfer opportunities:  We welcome students from not only Princeton, but also from the surrounding communities.  Bus transportation extends to neighboring towns.
