The 1st and 2nd graders had a blast celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month this week! They made colorful papel picado and learned all about the rich culture and heritage of this amazing community.

It was presentation day in Spanish class, and the energy was amazing! 🎉 Each student picked a Spanish-speaking country to dive into and wowed the class with fun facts about culture, history, and (everyone’s favorite) the food! 🌎✨ To top it off, we got to taste delicious empanadas and sip on refreshing agua fresca de fresas—yum! 🍓🥟 It was the perfect way to celebrate learning while exploring the rich flavors and traditions of the Spanish-speaking world. 🌟💃
