TK-2nd grade students learned all about the process of making balloons for the Thanksgiving Day Parade from the engineering side to the artistic side, and everything in between! After reading Balloons Over Broadway, they explored how the first parade balloon was invented and how the entire design and building process works. To wrap up our mini-unit, students designed their own creative balloons and proudly toom them outside to give the whole school a parade. It was such fun anf joyful learning experience for everyone! 🎈

Our Culinary Arts students got a latte inspiration today thanks to an amazing and energizing presentation by Zack Hansen from Hansen’s Hankerings the mobile coffee company that brings delicious cups of caffeine happiness right to your door! ☕️ Zack shared how his business idea was brewed, from spotting a need in the community to roasting his very own coffee beans. Students were all abuzz as they watched different coffee creations come to life and, of course, got to taste some of the delicious results! A huge thank you to Zack for sharing his passion and keeping our future chefs inspired (and caffeinated)!
