Mrs. Boutelle’s class had an amazing time learning about the salmon life cycle during their trip to the Oroville Fish Hatchery. The students were excited to connect what they’ve learned in class with hands-on experiences outdoors.
We are excited to announce that Princeton students earned the highest combined scores on the 2025 CAASPP tests of all TK-12 districts in Glenn County!. And we we second highest compared to all Colusa County districts. We are very proud of our students for their achievement. GO EAGLES!
Princeton Elementary School Joins the 10th Annual California Crunch!
At noon, Princeton Elementary students proudly participated in the 10th Annual California Crunch! The students counted down together and all crunched into delicious, locally grown apples donated by a farmer from Willows, CA.
Over 100 organizations across California signed up for this year’s event, with more than 780,000 students expected to crunch together statewide! This marks the largest—and hopefully the loudest—California Crunch yet!
With the leftover apples, our school will be making applesauce for the students to enjoy in the cafeteria — a sweet way to continue celebrating local agriculture and healthy eating!

Culinary students embarked on a tasty adventure to Scandinavia! 🇸🇪🍫 From chocolate-covered popcorn to chewy banana gummies and tangy raspberry treats, their taste buds went on a sweet and delicious journey they won’t soon forget! Thank you, Princeton Community Eagles, for the Yum box subscription and making this happen monthly for our students!
FFA Mandatory Meeting Tonight!
Oh my goodness, last Friday was absolutely amazing! Our first and second graders are diving into the fascinating world of germs 🦠 and conducting an exciting germ experiment on bread. And guess what? Miss Miller was so generous to let us borrow her microscopes from the high school science lab! The students were thrilled to explore the world around them up close. A huge thank you to our fantastic high school helper, Reyna, for leading our microscope discovery center and making this experience unforgettable!
The Farm to Fork class prepared a delicious three-course fall lunch for all high school staff members today!
The menu included:

A big thank you to everyone who donated to the 3rd and 4th graders' lemonade stand to help fund pediatric cancer research. We exceeded our goal and raised $523! Laps were run, lemonade was drunk, donations were collected, and a sweet time was had by all!

On Tuesday, our Culinary Arts students toured the breathtaking Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena, one of only three campuses in the nation! 🌟 They explored classrooms, watched students cook lunch, learned about programs, and even caught a live “town hall” meeting. An inspiring day filled with learning, flavor, and Napa Valley magic! 👩🍳✨
